These aren't my games, but just games which are cool and I think kinda fit in with the aesthetics I like.

Advance Wars: Days of Ruin

This is honestly just a compulsory one because of Isabella. I like the game a lot (it might be my favorite AW game? I love them all though so it's hard to pick...) but from a pure aesthetic point of view most other things don't really work.

A Witch's Tale

Okay, I think almost every NIS game is going to qualify here, but this one is so good. You're a witch (points,) who meets a cute vampire (points,) who you blow off to open up a forbidden book and fuck up the whole world. You then have to RPG your way through the 6 worlds to get all the magic things to unlock the thing to kill the evil. Also you and the vampire look like this:

It's all framed through this really light RPG. No equipment, a shared MP pool among your whole party (a party which is made up of your magical dolls and stuffed animals, I'm going to stop with the points thing now though,) and controlled entirely through the touchscreen. The touchscreen controls could be a little cleaner in combat and the spells could be better communicated, but they sigils are recognizable after a few casts and I guess that's kinda the point of learning magic, huh (^^)? I haven't beaten any of the worlds yet, but it was so nice I had to put it up here. I ended up finding it because of a video by Hazel on YouTube. I spend a good 5 hours on it my first day playing.
